A jounée study and information on the rights and protection of handicépés was held Thursday at Sebdou by the association of disabled drivers of daira of Sebdou, at we learned from Ms. Fatma Négadi, president in the presence Members of MP Mohamed Chikh, associations, lawyers and press correspondents in the wilaya of Tlemcen.
In this context, a communication was led by Hamdani Fatiha lawyer in regard to the protection and promotion of disabled persons in accordance with the law in May 2002.
Despite this law, protection of the disabled remains to be perfect by other texts and rights of this fringe of society deserving of respect from the government.
Participants listed the problems they encounter in the slow pace of review of their files and granting the disabled card or other rights to receive medicines so. Several examples were cited by attending the workshop.
At the end of the day recommendations have been proposed regarding the creation of a secretariat of State or Ministry disabled, the revision of the law of the disabled, the participation of associations of disabled persons with authorities decisions on social actions, creating a communal déégué the disabled in rural areas, issuing the card disabled consitition the folder so medically recognized.
During the day sic wheelchairs were distributed to disabled drivers.
