Tlemcen: a program of scientific activities of the university.
A scientific program of events was established by Abu Bakr Belkaid University in Tlemcen Capital of Islamic Culture in 2011.
Indeed, seven symposia are planned: History on the city of Tlemcen and the region 20, 21 and 22 February during the National Day of Shaheed, women's poetry in Tlemcen 7, 8 and 9 March the occasion of International Day of Women, Islam in North Africa and the role of Tlemcen in the spread of Islam on 21,22 and 23 March, thinkers and distinguished figures of Tlemcen 18, 19 and 20 April on the occasion of the Day of Knowledge, the work of Mohammed Dib 14, 15 and 16 May, the Andalusian poetry and music: the school of Tlemcen 21, 22 and 23 June, to ancestral knowledge of Tlemcen and around the 2, 3 and 4 July, Tlemcen haven after the fall of Andalusia on 25, 26 and 27 October, literary history of Tlemcen 21, 22 and 23 November, the Roads of Faith ( Sufism) 17, 18 and 19 December.
In addition, the university has scheduled study days on: Islam and Orientalism: Intercultural Dialogue on 30 and 31 March, the economy and the worldwide Islamic Waqf on 4th and 5th May, ethics medical, reproductive technology and gene therapy on May 5, Tlemcen and surrounding toponymic studies in the light of communication technologies on 9 and 10 May, the Medical Ethics June 25, opening the book vector of Muslim culture 14 and 15 September, the moderation in the development of Islamic culture, in collaboration with the Association of Algerian Muslim Scholars and the Global Forum for Moderation in Jordan on September 26 and 27, the role of institutions in the fight against the evils 5 and 6 October, centuries of shared history: Towards a Common Future 17, 18 and 19 October, the constitution and Islam October 23 and 24, samples and organ transplants November 5, medicine and doctors of Tlemcen between 10th and 20th century on 5 and 6 December, the rights of women and children in the Muslim world on 7 and 8 December.
In addition, exhibitions will be held on various themes: Muslim manuscripts, trade Bejaia - Tlemcen, the Golden Age of Arab Sciences, Mohamed Dib, astronomy in Tlemcen, the scientific production of the University of Tlemcen other universities in the national territory, archeology, art, books on Algeria, Tlemcen, Tlemcen through photos, archives Tlemcen on the national liberation struggle.
In addition to the work of publishing books on the defense strategy of conquest or victory in the Mediterranean texts of architecture and urban planning, Tlemcen a growing Islamic Mediterranean metropolis.
Exchanges between universities through videoconferencing, the organization of the Olympiad in mathematics, contests and prizes for the best scientific, literary and artistic works on Islam and contemporary challenges.
